about one book one putnam
One Book One Putnam is a volunteer committee that selects
one book each year which it encourages the community to read and talk about. Book
related activities are also offered to entice people to become further involved
with the book. Other OBOP events, such as ‘An Evening with the Authors’, help to create
broad support for reading in Putnam County. OBOP
is sponsored by the Putnam County Library Board, Inc., receives no direct
funding from government organizations, and is funded entirely by
donations.
